Winner's Circle, meet Young Prince. This dmv native is the man and is letting it be known that although he may look like a chill dude, its fuckin War. After first listening to YP's newest full length project my reaction was that his music has the feel good, catchy Wiz Khalifa vibe but was way more lyrical at the same time. He wants to be a problem in this rap game and has grand aspirations, but is clearly enjoying the journey that will hopefully take him to the promised land. I met the Prince before he opened for a sell out crowd at the Music Farm and could instantly tell how much fun he was having as him and his crew were wylin out the whole time including catching some epic green room cyphers on camera. This dude loves his music and has a team and fanbase that believe in him. Download his two newest projects, War and Back To The Basics and I bet you'll believe in him too. YP will also be performing in the Hip Hop Showcase in the Bassment at the Brightsound Bassment in Columbia, SC on Feb 26 which is sure to be a glorious night of hip hop so make sure to show up and support good music!
