Drake - Headlines (prod. Boi-1da)

Drake's camp just let loose the first official single off his second album Take Care, which is set to drop October 24th. Boi-1da kills this beat but I'm not feeling this one quite as much as "Dreams Money Can Buy".

Iceman on NFL Free Agency

Hey WinnerCircle followers, I’m here to provide commentary on everything from sports to politics to developments in the hip hop game. I’m gonna keep it loose and I encourage your feedback via comments. Enjoy.

The NFL right now is looking a lot like one of those fantasy drafts you create on Madden. We’ve now got McNabb in the twin cities, Reggie Bush in Vice City, and Chad Ochocinco donning #85 in Beantown. Shit is crazy. Thanks to the lockout being unlocked, players and owners have agreed to restructure contracts and everybody seems pretty happy about this head-spinning rearrangement of NFL rosters.

Nnamdi Asomugha (don’t ask me to pronounce it) who is widely considered one of the best corners in the game just signed with Philly joining quick Vick and the explosive Eagles, increasing their chances of hoisting a Lombardi trophy. Albert Haynesworth, who some argue is the biggest financial bust ever to play, joins Ochocino on the Pats and has pledged to “treat myself as a rookie, go out there and play ball and win games."

Time will tell if the big man is still in worse shape than Mike Greenberg, but we all know from his time with the Titans that Haynesworth can be a huge pain in the ass to quarterbacks and running backs alike.

All of this free agent and trade activity ultimately begs the question: who will have the most impact on his new team? Will it be Sidney Rice making it rain in Seattle? Or will Donovan McNabb captain the ship in Minnesota?
My preseason prediction for Superbowl XLVI: Eagles v. Patriots.

The Game - Drug Test f. Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre

This picture of Dre, Snoop & Jayceon in the studio surfaced and immediately became my profile picture months ago, now thanks to DiverseHipHop (check the blogroll) we know what the three West Coast gangsta rap icons were up to in that studio. I'm sure this song will be talked about all week and to be honest after a couple listens I'm feeling very underwhelmed. I don't like Game's liberal use of auto-tune (save it for the iPhone app) and just like some of the other supposed Detox leaks it feels like Dre's trying too hard with this beat. It's fast tempo doesn't suit the laid back style of Snoop and overall as much as I want to love it the track just seems sloppy. Will Dre and Game's albums ever really see the light of day?

Curren$y - Televised f. Fiend (Official Video)

Really dope in-studio music video from Spitta & International Jones off that Weekend At Burnie's . Also check some some high-quality footage of Curren$y performing "Michael Knigh" live at Grand Central Miami after the jump. Jets fool...

Phil Ade - Ballin' Freestyle

Fresh off the release of his new mixtape A Different World (if you don't have it yet click on the top album cover on the right side of the page) DMV's Phil Ade is back to work as he delivers his own rendition of Jeezy & Weezy's Ballin'

Juicy J - Met The Wrong Gun (Official Video)

Ignorance is bliss...We Trippy Mane!!

Meek Mill - We Gone Get Dis Money (Official Video)

Philly & Maybach Music's own Meek Mill makes it clear he'd be making plenty of money even if he wasn't a successful rapper. His new mixtape Dreamchaser drops August 11th.

Sneaker Alert: The Most Insane Sneaker Collection You've Ever Seen (Video)

What we have here is a tour of the "ShoeZeum" aka the craziest sneaker collection display ever. There are supposedly over 2,000 pairs of Nike's all organized meticulously making this a must watch for all sneaker heads.

Travis Barker - Let's Go f. Lil Jon, Busta Rhymes, Twista & Yelawolf (Offical Video)

Similar to DJ Khaled regardless of how much Travis Barker actually does musically on these tracks you have to commend his ability to recruit and put together top notch collaborations. On this one he enlists three rapid-fire specialists and despite Lil Jon's seizure-inducing hook this song is a banger. Yelawolf's debut album on Shady Records, Radioactive, is finally set to drop September 27th.

The LOX Reunion in New York (Video)

Al Qaeda Jada just released the official footage of his, Sheek & Styles P's reunion during Young Jeezy's TM101 celebration concert. Being in PA right now I can't believe I missed this show but I'm betting the the LOX will pop up somewhere at Rock The Bells in September.

The 2 of Diamonds - Don't Cut It Down

Chicago duo The 2 of Diamonds sent me this track and I'm really digging the catchy hook and vocals complemented by potent rhymes from the two rappers. Here's what they had to say...
Gang Green Music Group artists, The 2 of Diamonds, (Chicago Natives) are proud to release “Don't Cut It Down" featuring Shayna Love. The song focuses on forgetting about all problems and taking the time to vibe to your favorite song. The track is produced by Trakk Addicts  and was released to prepare fans for their forthcoming mixtape, Jackin for Fans, hosted by DJ’s Ill Will and Rockstar (August 2011).

Remy Banks - More Clouds f. Domo Genesis (prod. Hannibal King)

Odd Future's resident stoner Domo Genesis (second verse) showcases why he is one of THE best weed-rappers in the game right now. I feel like I'm smoking just listening to this song off Remy's upcoming mixtape World Famous 2, produced entirely by Hannibal King. In other Odd Future news check out the hilarious "Real N*gga Freestyle" session which took place on their tourbus.

Download: Remy Banks - More Clouds f. Domo Genesis (prod. Hannibal King)

LEP Bogus Boys - The Bag f. PacMan (Official Video)

Other artists film music videos, the Low End Professionals make movies to go along with their street anthems. This one follows the almighty dufflebag and also sees Count & Moonie playing multiple roles so don't be confused when you see Count stick up himself towards the end.

Mac Miller - Whateva

I knew these verses sounded familiar and just realized we heard them in his XXL cypher earlier this year. Mr Best Day Ever has managed to garner an enormous fanbase without an album or a major label deal and most impressively has stayed true to himself and stuck to his original formula for making music. Mac's debut Blue Slide Park is set to drop before the end of the year.

Download: Mac MIller - Whateva

Freeway & Tek (of Smif-N-Wessun) - Two Kings

Damn this one goes hard as two veteran, beard-sporting MC's link up for Dub Caesar Apparel's upcoming mixtape. Freeway's been everywhere lately appearing on a new track almost every day and you won't find any complaints about that here in the Winner's Circle.

Download: Freeway & Tek - Two Kings

Jon Connor - Ain't No Future 2011 (Video)

Jon Connor pays homage to Flint, MI trailblazer MC Breed and uses his smash hit to put on for their city once again in 2011. If you like what you hear go cop Connor's latest offering The Salvation on iTunes.

Fiend - CoOL IS IN SESSION (Mixtape)

For those of you wondering how to be cool, JETS' own Fiend aka International Jones is here to teach you via a series of smooth, spacey beats and educational lyrics to go with them. Jets fool...

Casey Veggies - Said She Like Me (Unreleased)

Young Veggies just posted this previously unheard track on his Tumblr earlier today. This kid just graduated high school but has the pen game, work ethic & business mind of someone twice his age.

Download: Casey Veggies - Said She Like Me (Unreleased)

Frank Ocean - Thinking About You

Some new Frank Ocean to start the day off why not? Franks been a busy man lately with Odd Future's success as well as working with Beyonce on her new album 4 and of course with Hov and Yeezy on Watch The Throne.

Freddie Gibbs - Rob Me A N*gga f. Alley Boy (prod. Big K.R.I.T.)

Krit handles the backdrop and hook while Gangsta Gibbs spits his rapid fire, ultra-detailed rhymes and Alley Boy, fresh off his new mixtape release, holds his own and proves once again that he's more skilled on the mic than his predecessors Gucci and Waka. This one has street anthem written all over it.

Download: Freddie Gibbs - Rob Me A N*gga f. Alley Boy (prod. Big K.R.I.T.)

Scotty - Fade Away (prod. DJ Burn One)

Scotty hits us with another dope leak off his upcoming project Summer Dreams produced entirely by DJ Burn One. Atlanta meets Jamaica here as Scotty's Southern drawl flows like the Atlantic over this reggae-infused beat making it the perfect soundtrack for your next smoke session. Stay tuned for Summer Dreams coming soon and in the meantime follow him and get familiar.

Download: Scotty - Fade Away (prod. DJ Burn One)

Skyzoo - Boat Check In (Otis Freestyle)

This "Otis" freestyle is said to be the first installment in Skyzoo's new Penny Freestyle Series. According to Sky...
A collection of freestyles sporadically done as “lyrical exercise” over some of the dopest yet most random beats.

Download: Skyzoo - Boat Check In

Emilio Rojas - I'm On One Freestyle

Emilio gets a late pass as he becomes the latest rapper to give the anthem of Summer '11 his own rendition. His next project, Breaking Point, will be presented by everyone's favorite brand they can't afford Billionaire Boys Club.

Download: Emilio Rojas - Im On One Freestyle

Yonas - Ignition

Yonas is that dude. Every time the New York spitta drops a song I wonder how this guy isn't bigger because he makes jams and has more than enough charisma and skills to be a star.

Top Dawg Ent. Takes Over New York (Video)

The TDE camp just released some footage of their recent trip to New York promoting Jay Rock's debut Follow Me Home. With possibly my favorite Kendrick song "Ronald Reagan Era" in the background, the video captures freestyles, interviews, recording sessions, smoke sessions, Kendrick's BHHF appearance, and TDE meeting up with the Cinematic crew resulting in general fuckery and Ab-Soul planking.

Aloe Blacc - I Need A Dollar (Live for MADE)

Aloe Blacc performs his hit song (and the theme for 'How To Make It In America') live with backing from Mihalj “MIKI” Kekenj’s string quartet for the MADE Project. This is epic.

Jim Jones - I'll Be Back f. Meek Mill & Fred The Godson

Two XXL 2011 Freshmen get the call from the Capo himself and they made sure to bring their A-game. Meek Mill clearly feels at home on his buddy Jahlil Beats production and makes it known that he's a force to be reckoned with.

West Coa$t Wednesdays with Phillmatic

Whaddup world? Time for another issue of "WCW" so lets get right into it. First up is a new track from the elusive 2009 XXL Freshman, Blu off his newly-released "JESUS" album, produced by Alchemist with a dope feature from 1/2 of Cali Agents, Planet Asia.

Album is available for purchase here.

Next up is a dope MMG vlog from the leader of the pack himself, Rick Ross. As you know, he's currently working with some of the dopest producers in the game on the follow-up to his "Teflon Don" album aggressively titled "God Forgives, I Don't". In the vlog below, Ross is chillin in a Diamond Supply "Un-Polo" hoody (I got the tee, shoutout to Nick), burning a couple paper planes, & vibing in Alchemist's studio. Album COMING SOON

Karmaloop recently conducted a cool little interview with TDE/Strange Music signee (also 1/4 of the Black Hippy movement), Jay Rock. As you know his album "Follow Me Home" dropped yesterday so KL took some time to sit down with him & ask him about it, gang life in CA, favorite movies, & what it's like being a part of Black Hippy.

Wrapping up this week's blog is the new single (and visuals) "Molotov Cocktail" from THURZ's upcoming "LA Riot" album dropping August 9th.

THURZ - Molotov Cocktail by #92CREW

Juicy J - Money Balls/ Workout (Official Video)

All the essentials for a Juicy J video are present here: blunts, bongrips, automatic weapons and cash...We Trippy Mane!!

J. Cole - Can't Get Enough f. Trey Songz

J. Cole links up with Mr Steal Your Girl for this jam which may or may not appear on Cole World's debut album. Lyrically Jermaine has always been on point I just hope he can figure out how to sell some records cuz lord knows he deserves it. Cole World: The Sideline Story is set to finally drop September 27th.

Download: J. Cole - Can't Get Enough f. Trey Songz

Rittz - Triumphant (prod. DJ Burn One)

My first encounter with Rittz was at a show in Atlanta where he was set to open for Yelawolf although we didn't know that when we got there. All we saw was a dude with the hair you see above standing, talking to some people in the crowd and all of us immediately looked at each other and started dying because we couldn't believe our eyes. My homie said it best that for a while he was waiting for security to kick this guy out for making the patrons uncomfortable. So imagine our reaction when we see said goofball run up from the back of the room and step on stage...we figured you couldn't write this kind of humor. Well once the beat dropped and dude started rapping all that laughing stopped pretty quickly. Turns out this man they call Rittz could rap his fucking face off and did so for about twenty minutes leaving us in complete awe of what just happened. Months later, Rittz released his mixtape White Jesus, which felt like Yelawolf's Trunk Muzik all over again. Rittz has perfected the double-time flow and uses it over an array of trunk-rattling beats and also shows his skills as a storyteller in more serious tracks. However, the fact that between Action Bronson and Rittz two of my favorite rappers right now are gingers might mean the Mayans were right after all.

Yo Gotti - CM6: Gangsta Of The Year (Mixtape)

North Memphis' own Yo Gotti is back with the sixth installment of his Cocaine Muzik series hosted by Mr Thanksgiving himself DJ Drama. This is meant to hold fans off till Gotti's long-awaited debut Live From The Kitchen drops and with production and features from Lex Luger, Drumma Drumma & Young Jeezy it should do the trick.

Nas - More Than I Can Say f. Keyshia Cole (Unreleased)

Well as you know I worked with a wide range of talent. One cool dude I got to kick it with was my man Nas. Nas is a talented, funny, cool individual. Actually his brother Jungle, to me is one of the funniest dudes I ever met. Don’t believe me check the N.O.R.E. skits. I must credit Jungle though, he was a visionary with A&R talent as well. This song was done in 2005 while I was recording “Press Play”. This beat was one out of many sitting around. I felt this beat was Hip-Hop and to me I pictured Nas flowing to this beat, it was NYC, Queens, and most of all had substance. Well as we know the track never made the album, however the countless studio sessions with Nas and Keyshia were priceless. They were never in the studio at the sametime. Yummy Bingham originally wrote and referenced the hook. I wish this song made it to Press Play, but it never did, I thought the world could use some blessings from Godson.   - Geno Sims

Tech Tuesdays With Ell_Ayy

Wassup folks, @bxLAxk here with another edition of Tech Tuesdays! This years Comic-Con has said its goodbyes but not without leaving some goodness in its wrath, here are my 3 top favorites fresh from the annual convention out of San Diego.

First up, the Super Hero of Gadgets himeself, Batman, raised out of the darkness to bring us this new chilling trailer:

Next up, one of my favorite actors, Robert Downey Jr, returns to the big screen for the much needed sequel to Sherlock Holmes 2:

And on the gaming side, Saints Row returns yet again for a 3rd time, and it most certainly looks like it has the charm. From starting out in the backseat to the likes of GTA about 5 years ago, it appears that Saints Row is ready to break out and pull a full time jack move:

Thanks for tuning in to another edition of Tech Tuesdays. Until next time, I bid you farewell. Peace.

Kash - Straight No Chaser (prod. Blade Gordon) (Official Video)

Let it be known the Winner's Circle is a proud member of the FootKlan (check the blogroll), a collective founded by Tef Poe of artists, bloggers, hustlers and like-minded individuals working to co-promote, spread the good word and ultimately take over this here rap game. Poebama just sent me this video from fellow Footklan & Force representative Kash and as expected its hip hop in the purest form. Kash's flow and deep, intelligent rhymes remind me a lot of Jay Electronica, which couldn't be any more of a good thing in my book.

Black Hippy - Toca Tuesdays Freestyle (Video)

Tony Touch just liberated the footage of the lyrical massacre that took place when Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q & Ab-Soul invaded the Shade 45 studio earlier this week. If you had any doubts this should convince you that Black Hippy/TDE is the future. Get the audio dope here.

Hoodie Allen - Leap Year (Mixtape)

Google employee turned rapper Hoodie Allen just dropped his new project Leap Year and its definitely worth checking out. I admittedly haven't listened to much of his stuff before but from what I've heard from this project he's a pretty solid storyteller with a nice flow and witty punchlines. Here's what he had to say...

I began writing Leap Year when I decided to leave my job at Google and follow my passion. The thirteen track album is a look into my world and what it means to step out of your comfort zone. I wanted Leap Year to mirror my life and experiences--it’s fun, crazy, sarcastic, and introspective-- its me growing up on record.

Download: Hoodie Allen - Leap Year (Mixtape)

Stalley - Pound (Official Video)

One of favorite tracks from Stalley's latest offering Lincoln Way Heights gets the visual treatment. Cot damn that beard is righteous.

Joell Ortiz - Night Train (Remix) f. Novel, Bun B & Tech N9ne

Joell Ortiz, Bun B & Tech N9ne are all seasoned veterans that are unfuckwitable in my book and it shows on this cut. Tech N9ne isn't usually rapping over such mellow beats and he really shines as he depicts his own tale of rags to riches and the hussle that got him where he is today. It's nice to see all of these guys getting the mainstream attention they've longed deserved and make sure to go cop Jay Rock's debut Follow Me Home on Tech's Strange Music label.

Download: Joell Ortiz - Night Train (Remix) f. Novel, Bun B & Tech N9ne

Scotty - Husslin (prod. DJ Burn One)

I've never heard of ATL native Scotty before, but once I saw that DJ Burn One gave him the co-sign I had to give this track a listen. The beat picks up right where The Ashtray left off as Scotty spits gritty rhymes with a strong Southern drawl over a soulfully spacey backdrop with a nice guitar riff to give it that signature Burn One feel. This is a mere preview of whats to come tomorrow when Scotty delivers his newest project Summer Dreams produced entirely by Burn One until then watch A Day in the Life of Scotty.

Download: Scotty - Husslin (prod. DJ Burn One)

Dom Mazzetti vs. White Rappers (Video)

If you've never heard of Dom Mazzetti basically he's the most entertaining guido since The Situation circa '09. In this hilarious episode he pokes fun at the current phenomenon of white college rappers and ethers the style and image of said white college rappers.

Trae Tha Truth - Inkredible 3 Remix f. Rick Ross, Lil Wayne & Jadakiss

Houston's Trae Tha Truth enlists the services of  Lil Tunechi, Officer Ricky and Al Qaeda Jada for the remix over this MMG-approved, cinematic backdrop that should be blaring out of a trunk near you the rest of summer. Trae's new album Street King is in stores now.

Apple's New MacBook Air [2011 Model]

What's goody folks? Comic Con has come to a close and while I'm busy sifting through the madness to bring you that good stuff in tomorrow's Tech Tuesday, thought I would hold you over with some nutritional tech swagg to keep ya going through the day. The good folks in Cupertino, California have once again blessed the tech world with a shiny updated gadget, the new MacBook Air. Calling it "the future of the notebook", the refreshed model sports all the Apple goodness you'd expect: Multi-touch, unibody construction, back lit keyboard, and that ever so juicy battery life. On the more technical side, it comes in an 11 and 13-inch screen rocking Intel core i5 and i7 processors respectively. With Apple's newest OS X Lion and Thunderbolt data transfer technology [which transfers data 20 times faster than your USB port and cord], Apple has once again shown that its formula for replacing something good with something better is a known Win in the technology world. The MacBook Air retails at $999 for the base model and works it's way up to $1,599 on the premium side so break out that Nike shoe box before next semester rolls around. This is at @bxLAxk and until next time, I bid you farewell. Peace.

Smoke DZA - On The Corner f. Big K.R.I.T. & Bun B

When word gets out that Smoke DZA aka George Kush has a project coming out one thing is for certain, it will have a hilariously dope cover! Although he tends to get thrown in the weed-rapper category (the name doesn't help either) DZA is a complex rapper and like Curren$y usually burns through (no pun intended) a wide array of topics effortlessly in his verse's but definitely has that stoner swagger as the cover art indicates. Rolling Stoned drops August 30th.

Download: Smoke DZA - On The Corner f. Big K.R.I.T. & Bun B

Vado - Always On

Harlem rapper Vado is one of the most promising young Hip Hop artists in New York City, so it was only fitting he was tabbed to create the official anthem for Team Nike. This exclusive new track, “Always On,” was inspired by the passion, dedication and toughness shown by our squad of elite ballers competing Uptown at Dyckman Park this summer. There are plenty of parallels between the rap game and athletics, and Vado understands them well: “Dark nights, park lights / 24-hour practice, how I got nice.” Words to live by.

Download: Vado - Always On

Vakill - Appetite To Kill (Official Video)

Vakill's Armor Of God is one of those projects that kind of flew under the radar as it dropped earlier this year. Like Action Bronson's Dr. Lecter this album pays homage to a time when lyrics were more important then which R&B singer you enlisted for the hook. Its almost tiring watching this video as Vakill unleashes bars for days but for some reason you can't help but keep listening just to hear what he'll say next. If you like what you heard make sure to support and go cop the album.

DOOMSTARKS (MF Doom & Ghostface Killah) - Victory Laps

XXL just liberated the CDQ version of the radio rip we heard weeks ago and its really starting to set in that this fabled album is actually happening. For now die hard fans can salivate over the Serato picture disk 12'' which you can pre-order here. DOOMSTARKS coming soon...

Notoriety - Pictures On My Wall (Official Video)

Just saw this video from up and coming rap duo Notoriety in the inbox and needless to say it was a pleasant surprise on this rainy Monday morning. Here's what they had to say...
Notoriety combined forces with Full Sail graduate, Zak Swain, to bring you their second music video off the latest mixtape, Part Deux (Hosted By Statik Selektah). Being the #Gainerz that we are, we put in a lot of work to get this video done the way we wanted it. Thanks to everyone who has supported us thus far. We're only getting started...

"Pictures On My Wall" is one of the group's personal favorite tracks off of the mixtape, which was released on Valentine's Day earlier this year. The track can be download here: http://tinyurl.com/5tpqxtv

Download the FULL version of "Notoriety - Part Deux (Hosted By Statik Selektah)" here: http://www.mediafire.com/?1krna6hikhk6pqj

Pill - The Diagnosis (Mixtape)

ATLien and MMG representative Pill finally drops his long-awaited mixtape The Diagnosis hosted by DJ Scream. Features include his boss Officer Ricky, Gucci Mane, CyHi The Prynce, Pusha T, Meek Mill, Tech N9ne & Trae Tha Truth.

Download: Pill - The Diagnosis (Mixtape)

Big Sean, Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa - Proceed

I'll admit there was a brief period where I was ready to give up on Wiz Khalifa. His debut album wreaked of crossover and he seemed to be heading down the hip-pop route cuz lets face it when you smoke like that your gonna need an ample amount of $. However, in comes two of his old buddies and PNC's who by joining forces have helped rejuvenate Wiz to the point where he's spitting some of the best verse's we've heard from him in years. These guys are supposed to have a collab project on the way but with a new song leaking everyday we might be compiling the tape ourselves with each download. In any case JETS/Taylor Gang/Finally Famous fool...

Jay-Z - Chubby Chub 7.13 Freestyle f. Red Handed + DJ Self Freestyle (Unreleased)

What we have here is an extremely rare, previously unreleased piece of hip hop history as a young Jay-Z and Red Handed go back and forth for six minutes on Chubby Chub's radio show in '94. You may not listen to this everyday, but if your a fan of Hov this is definitely something you wanna add to the collection. UPDATE: Someone must have planned quiet the heist of Jay-Z's musical vault because another relic has just been liberated to the masses. This one is said to be circa '95 as an upcoming Hov stopped by DJ Self's radio show to showcase his skills.

Consequence - The Plagurist Society (Pusha T Diss)

The day just got a lot hotter. Former G.O.O.D. Music frontman Consequence held his word and today launched a war against Kanye West and his army. In what’s expected to be the first of many attacks, on his first try Cons puts the spotlight directly on the labels latest signee, lyrical monster Pusha-T. On the track titled “The Plagurist Society” Cons questions Pusha’s coke-dealing raps while reminding the VA hustler that he comes from the land of the elite weight movers, the notorious Supreme Team. Consequence saves the best for last towards the end of the record when the Queens native promises to take aim at West on the next go round.

Skratch Bastid Presents: The Entertainer (Mixtape)

Two years since his last excursion, 110%, Skratch Bastid drops another classic mixtape for your ears, hips and feet. Right on time for your summer road trips, barbecues, and rooftop parties, The Entertainer delivers 50-minutes of classic style mixing with top-of-the-line skills, selection, and turntable expertise.

In addition to taking a fine selection of some of the best songs, new and old, to have graced dancefloors around the world, Skratch Bastid also takes on remixing duties - showing off a few private remixes such as: Bob Marley vs. War "Get Up Stand Up + Slippin' Into Darkness (Skratch Bastid Rock Dis Funky Joint Remix)", Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne & Hudson Mohawke "Look At Hudson Mohawke Now (Skratch Bastid's Thunder Bay Blend)" and Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, and Damien Marley "As we Enter The Gravel Pit (Skratch Bastid blend)" among others.

Meek Mill - Middle Of The Summer f. Mel Love

I'm a big Meek Mill fan, but with this heat plague going on I don't think he needed to remind us that it's the middle of the summer. Here he doesn't stray from his brand of first person street tales complemented with heavy doses or wordplay and Philly slang. His upcoming mixtape Dreamchaser will be here August 11th.

Jay-Z & Kanye West - Watch The Throne (Documentary)

Watch The Throne is available online August 1st & in stores August 5th. Pre-order it here.

Big Sean, Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa - Dot Dot Dot

Now this is starting to get ridiculous. JETS/Taylor Gang/Finally Famous fool...

Danny Brown: Born To Rap (Video)

Danny's verse on "Jahphy Joe" >>>>>
We had Danny Brown in Chicago on July 7th for Digital Freshness. Check out this video feature we shot with him before he took the stage. He explains what it means to take rap seriously, shares details on his new album XXX (30), and how he plans to be like Frank Sinatra.

The Game - Uncle Otis (Jay-Z Diss)

This is baffling to say the least. Last time I checked Hov and Yeezy weren't dissing The Game (unless it was so subliminal only Illuminati members and The Game could understand) on their new song "Otis". Regardless, Jayceon continues to make his fans regret standing up for him as he releases this mess of a diss track including some auto-tune shit talking. Wasn't it just weeks ago that Game was telling Chris Brown, Frank Ocean & Tyler, The Creator to stop beefing and focus on music?

The Plight of Pill ep.1 (Video)

MMG's Pill talks about his days growing up in a drug-infested neighborhood and the impact that had on him and his music and even spits the first rap he ever wrote in Kindergarten. The Diagnosis will be available right here tomorrow.

Add-2 - Iron Mic

Any song that samples Mike Tyson is worthy of a listen in my mind. Chicago's Add-2 should not be slept on as this lyrical assault is just a preview of whats to come on his new album Save.Our.Souls.

Grynch - Mister Rogers (prod. Jake One)

I don't know who Grynch is but he reminds me of Slug as he spits an ordinary day narrative and reminisces over a soulful backdrop crafted by none other than Jake One. The song is also available on iTunes if you want to support.

Smoke DZA - Cool Shit f. The Kid Daytona (Official Video)

George Kush and Daytona head to the mini-golf course and film the video for one of my favorite cuts off Smoke's latest offering T.H.C. Smoke's retail debut RollingStoned hits shelves August 30th.

Epic Meal Time Alert: Russian Meal Time

The lords of Epic Meal Time link up with fellow YouTube sensation FPSRussia and fuck around with three things all guys love: food, weapons & liquor.

Black Hippy - Toca Tuesdays Freestyle

Los Angeles based supergroup Black Hippy consists of four of the most talented prospects in the rap game today. From left to right Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar, SchoolBoy Q & Jay Rock each have their own distinct brand of music but are able to form like Megatron on command when its time for a collab. While in New York promoting Jay Rock's debut Follow Me Home (out July 26th) the gang stopped by Toca Tuesdays and blessed the mic for nearly ten minutes. Apparently Tony Touch was only expecting Jay Rock because he has no idea who the other three guys are rapping with him are until about halfway through lol.

Skillz - Regular Guy (Official Video)

It's always nice to hear from Skillz besides his yearly round ups. Directed by Cristopher Schafer.

Big Sean, Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa - Weed Brownies

Big Sean revealed yesterday that in fact the newly formed trinity have a project in the works and these leaks are just the beginning. I haven't eaten weed brownies in a while since last time I got so high that I sat on the same couch in a semi-coma for damn near six hours. But I'm sure that high which nearly killed me is just another day in the life of the JETS/Taylor Gang generals. Big Jerm provides another spacey canvas and Wiz uses a vocal effect that takes weed rap to a whole new level.

2012 is gearing up to be a HUGE year for Marvel with "The Avengers" movie starring Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Hulk & co; but it will also mark the year that we'll get the first entry in a new series of rebooted Spider-Man films. "The Amazing Spider-Man" arrives in theaters (3D & IMAX versions are dropping as well) July 3rd, 2012; enjoy the debut trailer below.

Jay-Z & Kanye West - Otis f. Otis Redding

Yeezy and his big bro go back and forth over an Otis Redding assisted, soulful backdrop in what is the first official leak off their upcoming album Watch The Throne which drops digitally August 1st and will be in stores August 5th.
