St Louis native and longtime friend of the Winner's Circle Tef Poe warned me of this collab awhile back and after much anticipation we get finally get the finished product. Tef and Killer Mike have themselves an anthem with this one and a dope set of visuals to go with it. Poebama's War Machine 2 is on the way.
Although Jay Rock was the first of the Top Dawg crew to blow up, he's taken a backseat as of late and watched his fellow Black Hippies Kendrick Lamar & Schoolboy Q become two of the most popular emcees in the game. I've been waiting to hear some new music from Jay and finally he blesses the fans with a new track produced by The Futuristiks.

Here's a little something I think your ears will enjoy. Check out DJ rDOT's spin to "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5 and "Bring It Back" by Travis Porter.ENJOY!
Chi-town native Add-2 is one of the more lyrically inclined emcees to hit the scene in recent memory and put his skills on full display during his visit to Statik Selektah's Showoff Radio. Add-2's anticipated new project Save.Our.Souls is out now.
Scotty and Dee Goodz filmed some visuals during SXSW for their collab off Scotty's new mixtape with DJ S.R. In The Meantime.
We got the audio last week, now the two Mississippi natives release some visuals for their collab off Banner's new mixtape Sex, Drugs & Video Games dropping May 25th.
As Spring time has officially arrived and the second quarter of music gets started, new music is plentiful. After receiving an email earlier this week, Charleston's own Righchus has me excited for his new release entitled: Black Cradles (release date TBA). Not only am I a fan of his music, I am also his DJ therefore I get the chance to listen to it first...sucks for u! But, here is a tease to get u excited as I am. Black Cradles coming soon....
After slacking for a minute and not posting on the site for awhile, here's a little something I hope will help make up for the lost time and help start your Spring off. Here’s a quick mix recorded on March 19th. Includes some Bia’ Bia’ by Lil Jon, Childish Gambino, and even Rick Ross makes an appearance! Check it out!

There's an endless amount of live footage going around from last week's SXSW Festival, but none made me smile and nod my head like these two Action Bronson clips from his set at the Fader Fort. Up top Bronsollini brings out Smoke Dza to perform "Big Bad & Dangerous" and below Riff Raff, who I literally can't describe using words, makes an appearance for "Bird On A Wire".
For the second single off the highly anticipated album Life Is Good, Nasir pens a tribute to hip hop icon Heavy D who passed away late 2011. Just like on "Nasty" Nas sounds rejuvenated and ready to reclaim the throne (see what I did there) once this new album drops.
Three promising New York up and comers tell us how they're living over some serious production from Woody, whose new album Lemons can be downloaded on his site.
Wale, Officer Ricky & Loso unite over a monstrous beat for this banger off the upcoming MMG compilation album Self Made Vol. 2.

Queens, NY rap duo Timeless Truth enlist the services of Flushing's own Action Bronson and the result is a success from the song to the equally cold video. Look out for Timeless Truth's Rock'It Science dropping soon.
For his new single our friend Hollywood FLOSS gets aggressive over some slammin production from Chris Rockaway. If you missed it make sure to check out Hollywood's latest project The Legend Begins.

The two most high profile rappers to come out of Mississippi link up once again, this time for "Believe" off David Banner's Sex, Drugs & Video Games, due out May 22nd.

Just because the Fear Not Failure Video Series is over doesn't mean QuESt is done with the visuals. In his continued demolition of today's hottest beats the Miami emcee turns Iggy Azeala's "My World" into the latest casualty. QuESt's highly anticipated new project Fear Not Failure drops April 3rd.
After apologizing to the Taylors for his debut album, Wiz Khalifa looks to find his roots and win back the fans with his new mixtape, appropriately named after his high school. With mostly in house production and features from Juicy J, Rick Ross, Smoke DZA & weed-carrier of the year Chevy Woods this is thankfully way more Kush & OJ than Rolling Papers.

I can honestly say that Action Bronson aka the accomplished chef-turned-rapper from Flushing, Queens has yet to release a subpar track which is a big reason why he had the best run since Wiz Khalifa in the past year. Once again Bronsollini teams up with a single producer for the entire project, this time with Party Supples and the chemistry is evident as Action yet again manages to live up to the JLin-esque hype that surrounds him these days.

Fresh off the release of his new mixtape Menace the Boss Hogg Outlaw is back at work with this cut produced by frequent collaborator DJ Mr. Rogers. This song is as smooth as it gets and sounds like a perfect addition to your smoke ride playlist.

For the fourth and final installment in QuESt's awesome video series the Miami emcee takes on dubstep prodigy Skrillex's single "First Of The Year". QuESt also revealed that his highly anticipated free album Fear Not Failure is due out April 3rd.

Here's the first leak off Sac-Town native Chuuwee's upcoming mixtape Crown Me King which drops April 24th followed by his Amalgam debut Wild Style on May 29th...
Chuuwee’s Crown Me King will serve as the prelude to his long-awaited official solo-debut, Wild Style, which will be released on 5-29-2012 via Amalgam Digital. Whereas Chuuwee’s previous efforts were hybrid sub-genres he created such as “neo-boombap” (neo-soul meets boom-bap) or “hooliganarism” which Chuuwee describes as Treach of Naughty By Nature meets Wakka Flakka Flame, Wild Style can be summarized as pure 90s Hip Hop, where he is taking the classic elements of the golden era with the look, sound and the feel and then applying them to the present day. Inspired by Gang Starr, A Tribe Called Quest, Big L, De La Soul with even hints of DMX, Wild Style promises to be Chuuwee’s break-out project, one that will showcase him as being a frontrunner lyricist from Hip-Hop’s new school; while also paying homage and respect to the great pioneers of the 1990’s.“Wild Style is the album that’s going to eradicate weak rap off the face of the map. It is the return of real Hip-Hop. It’s pure and it’s not me trying to re-make it. It’s not me telling you its 90s Hip-Hop; it is 90s Hip-Hop” says Chuuwee.

Nitty Scott grabs two Winner's Circle regulars for the Neapolitan Remix to her jam "Auntie Marie's Crib". Seriously though I don't think Bronsolino is capable of spitting a less then marvelous verse.

Compton native Problem is one of my favorite up and coming rappers and after this new project makes the rounds I don't think he'll be flying under the radar for much longer. Features include Freddie Gibbs, Dom Kennedy, Kurupt, E-40, Skeme and more.
Download: Problem - Welcome To Mollywood (Mixtape)
When most rappers delay an album they might drop a couple tracks here and there to hold fans over till the release. Well after announcing the push-back of his debut Live From The Underground, Krit decided to follow in his own footsteps by releasing a 17 song mixtape entirely self-produced and without a single feature. With this being his third "mixtape", Young Krizzle has officially redefined and raised the bar for the type of music artists release for free.

I'm a little late on this (still trying to balance a day job & the site) but our Chicago connect JDP presents his new EP, We Built Bombs, produced entirely by SureKnock Jones. This beats are ambitious in sound, often with a futuristic vibe but JDP shows his versatility and does his thing throughout.
